About Florence For Caregivers

Florence for Caregivers was built from 30+ years of being in the room.

Not reading about caregiving. Not studying it from a distance. Actually being there, in the homes, beside the beds, through the difficult nights and the harder conversations. Caring for people at their most vulnerable, and learning every single day what that experience truly demands of the people who show up to do it.

Florence is the voice behind this site. The name is a nod to Florence Nightingale, not because caregiving is glamorous or heroic, but because it is essential. Because the people who do it, whether they are professionals or family members who never asked for the job, deserve honest, practical guidance from someone who has actually lived it.

This site exists for one reason: to give family caregivers and loved ones the real information they need to care for someone with dignity, safety, and compassion.

Not watered-down advice. Not disclaimers dressed up as guidance. The truth, delivered gently when possible, and plainly when necessary.

Every article on this site comes from real experience. Every product we recommend is something we genuinely believe in. And every piece of content is written with one person in mind: the family member sitting at a kitchen table at midnight, wondering if they are doing this right.

You are. And we are here to help.

Florence for Caregivers provides general information for family members and laypeople caring for aging loved ones at home. This content is not a substitute for professional medical or clinical advice. Always follow your physician's orders.
